Nature School is....a pounding heart as you run, jump, imagine and climb. It's catching snowflakes on your tongue, feeling the rain on your cheeks, sliding through the trees, building forts, tying rope-webs and sitting quietly watching the clouds. It's learning to carry your own pack and help each other out. It's warm tea around a fire, silly games and developing a relationship with the plants and critters around you. Learn more here and follow our blog for weekly stories!
Nature School takes place on 2.5 acres of forested, fenced land behind Canyon-Lister Elementary School.
Join us in the forest for songs, stories, activities and outdoor play! This program will run rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather. We hope your family will enjoy spending time outdoors together, and take home ideas and inspiration on how to 'nurture a nature lover.'
Stay tuned for 2019 schedule!
